Hello everyone! Today I was trying to add captcha field to my form and faced with little problem with PIL. By default it doesn't support a lot of needed libraries! I've got many useful info from here and here. With this docu I was afraid that I couldn't setup PIL correctly on my host mashine on Openshift. But result was successful. So I'd like to share with you my experience.
First af all we need to create for PIL all required symlinks.
For 32-bit Ubuntu:
sudo apt-get install libjpeg62 libjpeg-dev libfreetype6 libfreetype6-dev zlib1g-dev
ln -s /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libfreetype.so /usr/lib/
ln -s /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libz.so /usr/lib/
ln -s /usr/lib...
A few days ago I had a small task for installing compiled packages by pip from local repository in Artifactory. Hope that this will be useful for someone.
1. Make local repo on Artifactory.
Note: User should be logged in and have admin privileges.
Admin -> Local Repositories -> New
Type the Repository Key and switch to Packages Tab. Find PyPI section and check the checkbox with "Enable PyPI Suuport" text. Click "Save" button.
Now you can download any package you want on the Deploy tab.
2. Create permissions for "anonymous" user for this repo.
